I need some help with posting a video of myself on Ellen Degeneres record lable.?

I’m a 24 year old male singer (tenor) whose trying to break into the music world and I have know that Ellen Degeneres has her on record lable called Eleveneleven and she has signed artist like Greyson Chance and others.I have been to the main page where you submit your demo and you have to give information and stuff like that but here’s my question.Does Ellen herself look at the videos or does her staff?Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

I doubt Ellen looks at them directly..her staff probably does. After her staff chooses ones they like, Ellen probably looks at the finals.

A question about music recording studios and breaking into the industry…need help!!?

I am wondering is there a way to get a record deal/ lable and break into the music industry without doing any gigs and any prior trainging. i am a good singer well not the best but decent enough to be able to make pretty music. i am very passionate about music and i sing all the time. ever since i was about 4 years old i have been wanting to be a singer and get into the music busineess and make a name for myself. but i am very good at this stuff just need a little push in the right direction. i can record myself singing and send it to them and i am been doing some research on this subject for awhile now, and i do write my own songs and i am not too bad at that. i do know a few people who can play drums, guitar that can join me if they want to. hope i dont sound dumb or crazy i just really want to see my dream come true before i am too old. thanks everyone.

i really want to send fan mail to my favorite band of all time, they arent very mainstream so not many people have heard of them and i dont know where to find the adrress to send it. does anyone have any idea of who i should contact? like the record lable or the managing company? this would help a lot!

I am the president of an independent rap music lable that I founded less than a year ago known as Super King Records. To help promote the lable I legally changed my name to Super King and my son, who is going to be the star rapper for my label legally changed his name to Cash-Money God. When I first founded my label, my wife agreed that she and our daughter who is 16 would be back-up dancers when we shot our videos. We were all set to shoot our first video yesterday when my wife informed me that neither she nor our daughter would be dancing on the video! This left me in a bind because I need back up dancers to shoot a rap video. I went to the local high school to try to recruit some other dancers but I was told by the principal that this was illegal. I don’t know where to turn now! How could my wife have so blatently betrayed me like this after she gave me her word! I think our marriage might be in jeopardy over this! What should I do!? Please help.

ever since i was really littel i wanted to be a singer but my brother teased me bout my singing so i gave up on that and wanted to own a record lable but now im 13 an i want to be a singer agian ( never rely stoped) im in choir and bout to get voice lessons bout 2-3 times a week and join honnors choir i would like to graduate high school early and move to LA or new york and work on my music. But lets be honnest my voice is ok but not great and whats the chance im gonna be a famous singer so i want your opion should i keep going for it or try something new and if so what job do you thin would be good for me i am a 13 year old boy

Singing is my passion. I’m a professional singer (Not famous) The chances are not very great. to be completely honest it would take A LOT of hard work. It’s always possible! but try to look at other options. finish high school. Wait until your older and see how things work out

how much would it cost to buy copywrite for music?

well i did a few music tracks for someone cd and after talking to a few people they told me
that he would screw me over and not put my name down as producer and take all te credit
i want to buy copy write for the 8 tracks i done for him so that if he dose do what i’m told he would i could get money for copywrite or take his record lable he is opening up as he woud not be able to pay me the money for the copywrite law suit
so i want to know how much it would cost for all of this and the cheapest way to do it

im not sure if iv picked u up right but i wouldnt let some1 take credit for your work so id join the mu
why give him your work, what if it gets realllllly famous?

if you join the mu it puts copy right protected on it, so even though you give the music to your mate it would still be classed under your name and if you wanted him to stop using it you can.

this is what famous people do so people cant steal their music, it cost abit but is wel worth it

or you could try and reason with him….but do you trust him? good luck x

Me and my band play rock in spanish. and we have pretty good music. our style is a mixture of MANA, Enanitos Verdes, And JUanes.
we want to get like sign. not just for the money but to be heard around the world. u know.
so is there a way to get into a record lable?

Just try and keep on attending shows, and performing, hopefully you will get noticed, if not then you could send demo’s of your work to record labels around, and just try to promote yourself as much as possible. It is hard, but try to keep at it, and don’t let anyone talk you down (e.g him ^ lol)

Im 14 and sing R&B i make my own music but im starting to have douts is there any way to get my demo heard by any A&R people from any record lable im willing to go the distance or shed tears blood or swet its all or nothing at this point

In order for you to get herd or seen you must need "PROMOTION" promote your self, go on youtube post videos, create a myspace post music on there. And build up a fanbase get people to hear you, enter to talent shows, have listening parties, have your local radio stations play your music or get it played in a different cities radio station. post videos or music audio links on the A&R people twitter or other R&B artist twitter. or send a copy of your music to the main office, you have alot of options out there for you. make smart decisions. And remember Promote yourself! and build up a Fanbase.usually when you have a large Fanbase they are willing to listen to you.
