When i record music to a CD it can be played only by the computer , how can i record music to a CD that can be played also to a CDplayer ?

First off, what program are you using? If you have windows media on on PC you can use that, its free because it comes with windows. Follow these steps you’ll be burning CDs in no time OK:

1.Click the Burn tab, click the arrow below the Burn tab, and then click Audio CD, as shown in the following screen shot.

2. Insert a blank CD-R disc into the CD burner.

3. If you have multiple CD burners installed on your computer and the burner you want to use is not the one selected, in the List pane above the playlist, click Next Drive (as shown in the following screen shot) until the CD burner drive you want is selected.

4.To add albums, songs, or playlists from your Player library, drag them from the Details pane to the List pane to create a list of songs to burn.

5. If you have selected more files than can fit on one CD, you can either burn all of the files to multiple CDs or choose to remove files until they all fit on one CD. To do this, right-click the file you want to remove, and then click Remove from List, as shown in the following screen shot. Keep doing this until the files will fit on one CD. Note that removing files from the burn list will not delete the affected files from the library.

6. In the list, drag files up or down to arrange them in the order that you want them to appear on the CD. If you have chosen to burn more than one CD at once, make sure that the files are ordered so that they will be burned to the CD you want.

7. At the bottom of the List pane, click Start Burn

8. If you are burning multiple CDs, insert a blank CD when the first one has finished burning, and then click Start Burn. Repeat this step until you have finished burning all of the CDs.

When the CD is down burning, it will eject itself. Hope this helps…

How do you record music with a mixer?

for years I have simply recorded my music with a keyboard and software. Even though I think I have made some good stuff (check out BeautifulMawMusic on youtube) there is a lot of acoustic and pieces I want to record. So my question is, how do I record with a mixer that isn’t USB capable? Do you need a computer to record?

You can use a computer but depending on your sound card there may be latency (time lag). Latency is only an issue if you want to do over dubs. If you just want to record single track through a mixer than running a line out into your computers mic input is fine.

Get your DAW software: free, paid for or cracked; linux is your best option if you want to do multi-tracking and not pay for it, that OS has a few free programs that are multi-track and VST capable.

Right click on you’re volume Icon in the system tray to check or un-check the recording and play back devices you want to use if you’re having trouble getting a signal.

One thing is for sure though if you want better than decent quality, you might want to invest in a decent sound card.

I’m not sure what you mean by "internally"…do you mean recording to your computer? If so, all you need is a USB microphone or a USB audio interface (if you already have a mic):

I want to record music at home. Not for any purpose, just for fun although i want to be a music teacher.
Does anyone know what equipment i would need? like mics ect? because i havnt got a clue what i would need… i have a laptop but it only has audacity on it, is that good for just playing around with?? thanks

How about using this music recorder? Just like audacity, you are able to record music and edit music according to your taste. But much easier and full featured, you may install it on your computer and then attach your microphone, while you play your music and sing your songs, you will record them ok.
