Look into perhaps a business degree and trying to get an internship with a record label or fashion designer. This will give you insight into the industry. I also think you may not be looking into the right major for you. I would try a Merchandising major, whether in fashion or music. Check out these schools which offer such programs and are located in major hubs of both the fashion and music industries (either NYC or LA).
