Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if I could get a record deal to a major label if I had a famous reference. I have connections to the lead singer of AC/DC and if he referred my music to his lable (SONY BMG RECORDS) would I have more chances of getting signed?

Only if you had talent to back it up. If you only know someone famous, but can’t sing on key, or have that crowd appeal going for you, you’re not going to make the record label money, and they’re not going to sign you.
Record labels want money, and someone to market, but they have to have both talent and crowd appeal.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but connections can only get you so far. Of course, if you do have lots of musical talent, then I’d say go for it.
