How do you get a record label to listen to your music?

What is the most proffesional way to send a record label your music? And how do you get them to listen to it?

The best way is for you to find out e-mail addresses of whatever A&R department of the record company[or companies you want ur music to be heard by]. But don’t do it in a stalker type away. Tell them about your-self, and what you are wanting to do, and try to establish a friendship with the A&R man or woman. Then as you keep talking either computerwise or phonewise to this person, then ask them to listen to one of your demos. But make sure the friendship you two have are strong first don’t start rushing it. It might take a couple tries, so you should ALWAYS have a back-up strategy…make sure you have already contacted ANOTHER A&R department. And try building a friendship with this person as well. So if the first one turns you down, you can always turn to the next. But don’t get your hopes up too soon. Keep building your friendship with this A&R person, and you will get on the right path to success! But first you need to start findin’ sources[links, or type names of A&R departments] into the computer and search. Then build up your A&R friend base! Good luck!!!
