How many music record labels can you belong to?

I wonder why fall out boy is on island records, fueled by ramen, and decaydence? It’s mind boggling. And which would be their main label,if there is such thing?

Sorry I do not know anything about Fall out boy. But there would only be one record label. It doesn’t make sense to have more than one. Perhaps you are seeing a Record label, management group and or distribution group? All of these companies do different things to help the band/music…and obviously get paid. But yeah no band would have 2 labels (no record label would want a band on another label to compete with) anymore than a band would have two managers.

One other thought is perhaps they had a small label and then joined a bigger group once they "broke". If it happened suddenly there could have still been cds etc. with the old label in circulation before the new label replaced it. Just a thought.

You sign with 1 and only 1 record label however the album can have multiple labels listed for any number of reasons.

    Distribution
    Finance
    Studio

To name a few, I don’t know abuot Fall out boy but from you question it sounds like fueled by is a financial and or studio deal.
