Rap/Hip Hop/Music recording labels: OKAY I AM CONFUSED, a question about recording companies,etc.?

I am going through Biggie’s album, Life after Death, and for each song, i read who produced it, here is anexample:

Your Nobody Till Somebody Kills You (produced by Puff Daddy for Bad Boy Records)
Kick In The Door (produced by RZA For Wu Tang Records)

So my question is, if Biggie was signed to Bad Boy, how are some of his songs being produced for Wu Tand Records, or aftermath,etc.???

IM CONFUSED!?!?!?

The songs wernt being produced for another label the producer was just signed to another label it just has to be credited

    Kick in the door was produced by Dj Premier. Rza 1 track off the album. Majority of his beats were done in house at Bad Boy.
